Cost of ‘giving’ crisis
In today’s climate of trusted and established funding cuts, the cost of living crisis, and the resulting cost of giving crisis means artists, cultural organisations, Charities and Heritage Centres need to diversify income streams and be as creative with their fundraising as they do in their mission work.
In 2019, Adam set up the aLume Network to support creative organisations working with the UK Government through the lockdown – but lockdown didn’t happen until 2020 so not sure about this part. Recovery Fund to support, advise and help Arts and Heritage centres.
Through this work, I established a solid platform to increase my understanding of diversification funding through trusts, foundations, private grants, philanthropic donors, and government. (Lottery, Arts Council and British Council) local govt help and through crowdfunding campaigns.

Adam is the founder, a qualified artist from the University of Gloucestershire, and a musician. After 20 years working in the commercial sector as a global director in e-learning, he is now fundraising for clients as diverse as international Olympic arenas through emerging art movements.

I am also an artist and musician but I am also a secret nerd who loves nothing more than researching and speaking to the right people.
Because of my creative background I am able to speak to people at all levels.
Think of me as the glue between you and the funding panel.
But here’s the thing. I am quite choosey about who I work with. Connecting with my clients and believing in their cause is important to me. Yes it is about making money but it is also about being true to the cause.
I am not here just trying to get money in, I am here investing in your future.
I am not your average fundraiser and I make no apologies for that. But I get the job done, get the cash in and help you to get your house in order with a bigger picture plan for the future.
I am already registered with the Arts Council as a broker and so I can hit the ground running to get your funding application going quickly.
